GRASS CUTTING TIME

It is that time of year to start cutting the grass in preparation for fire season.   No doubt it has got ahead of me with all the wet weather and the breakdown of my DR mower.    The new parts arrived Monday and by noon yesterday I had it all back together without much profanity--amazing!

  1. You are an amazing man, Mike Burke. I think we will need to rent a hay bailer by the time I can mow our fields. Looks like, rain, rain and more rain for the extended forecast after today.

  2. Looks like my lawn, Mike. Ain't it fun! First I had to replace the battery, then clean corrosion off the cables, then order a new mower deck drive belt after the old one got stressed out by the tall grass & broke. It arrived today so I should be back in business by the next couple of sunny days.

  3. Hey, come on Mike, it's kinda therapeutic to be out there cruising on a riding mower, weed-wacking, pruning, loping or chainsawing! But you'll hear an occasional profanity from me too when something doesn't go perfectly as expected!
